Local shelter rescues hurricane-stricken dogs

Following the hurricane destruction, the Chippewa County Humane Association took in 18 dogs from Texas that were in need of a permanent home. Only eight of the original 18 dogs remain in the shelter, as they prepare to take in another shipment of dogs.
